Arkansas College of Barbering & Hair Design offers training programs in Barber/Hair Design and the Teacher, Manager, Instructor Program (TMI). The primary purpose of these programs is to teach students in both theory and practical skills. The Barber/Hair Design Program will focus on hair cutting, chemical processing, shaving, massage, and more within 1500 clock hours. The TMI Program will train students in the basic principles of lesson planning, teaching methodologies, classroom management, and a variety of other topics within 600 clock hours. Students are prepared for state examination and entry level positions in the industry.
