Overview

Coastal Bend College (CBC) is a public community college located in Beeville, Texas, United States. It was founded in 1965 under the name Bee County College and renamed in 1998 to reflect the expansion of its service area. The college primarily serves the counties of Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Karnes, Live Oak, and McMullen, covering an area of over 9,000 square miles. CBC offers a wide range of academic and vocational technical programs, including nursing, petroleum and natural gas technology, automotive technology, business management, forensic science, and dental hygiene, as well as transfer programs to help students transition to four-year universities. The college awards over 800 certificates and degrees annually and has six National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) sports teams. CBC upholds its motto, “Success Starts Here,” and is committed to providing students with high-quality education and practical opportunities.
