Founded in 1958, Columbus State University is a public university in Columbus, Georgia, United States, part of the University System of Georgia, with a 132-acre main campus and a downtown RiverPark Arts Campus; as of fall 2023, it has approximately 7,600 students (6,000+ undergraduate and 1,600 graduate students +), offering more than 90 undergraduate and graduate programs in the colleges of arts, business, education, health, computer science, and music, with music and theatre programs renowned throughout the South.
