Northeastern Junior College (NJC), founded in 1941, is located in Sterling, Colorado (about 125 miles from Denver). As a member of the Colorado Community College system, this two-year public college offers more than 80 associate degree and certificate majors, focusing on agriculture, nursing, wind energy technology, business and other fields. The campus covers an area of nearly 25 acres and has 6 dormitory buildings that can accommodate more than 600 students. It has modern training facilities, a student center, a library and a gymnasium.
