Overview

Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) was founded in 1901 and is the oldest public community college in Oklahoma. The main campus is located in Tonkawa, and it has branches in Enid and Stillwater. The school has approximately 2,700-3,000 students and offers more than 40 associate degree and certificate programs in the fields of arts, science, and applied science. Students can choose to transfer or find employment. The campus has the A.D. Buck Museum, Botanical Gardens, and Radio Station. It is committed to "small class teaching, practical learning, and community service" with a student-teacher ratio of approximately 17:1. NOC has been selected as the best community college in the country many times. The school-enterprise cooperation and the Gateway project with Oregon State University are close, providing students with a high-quality transfer and employment platform.
