Overview

Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) is located in San Antonio, Texas. It was founded in 1895 and originated from the Sisters of Mercy Catholic Sisters. It was founded by the Sisters and is one of the earliest private universities in the area to obtain regional accreditation. The campus is adjacent to Lake Elmendorf and covers an area of about 72 acres. It has a Gothic-style main building and the famous Sacred Heart Chapel. There are more than 70 undergraduate fields, 15 master's and multiple doctoral programs, providing traditional and weekend, online learning models. The school is committed to serving a diverse population, with a friendly educational atmosphere. The sports team "Saints" participates in NAIA competitions, and the campus culture has a deep community influence.
