Southern Utah University, SUU for short, is located in Cedar City, Utah. It was founded in 1897 and is located in a valley surrounded by red rocks. The campus covers an area of 129 acres and has more than 140 undergraduate and 19 graduate programs, covering aeronautics, engineering, health sciences, humanities and arts. It features "small class teaching + practice-oriented" and emphasizes internships, research and outdoor experience, providing supportive teacher-student relationships and cost-effective education. The sports team "Thunderbirds" participates in NCAA Division I competitions, and campus life is rich.
