Southern Wesleyan University is a public comprehensive university located in the suburbs of Evansville, Indiana, USA. Founded in 1965, it is situated on a picturesque 1,400-acre campus and enrolls approximately 9,500 students across dual-credit, undergraduate, and graduate programs, spanning over 130 academic disciplines; The university is organized into five colleges: the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Business, the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, the College of Science, Engineering, and Education, and the Graduate School. It is renowned for its “small but excellent” teaching scale (with an average class size of approximately 20 students and all faculty members being professional professors) and its “community engagement” approach to education. The university offers a wide range of continuing education programs and operates educational outreach initiatives serving over 15,000 people, as well as 19 NCAA Division I athletic teams known as the “Hooters Eagles.” combining high-quality education with vibrant campus life.
