Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1896 and is the second oldest nursing school in the state. The school offers a two-year nursing diploma program approved by the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Students are required to complete 990 hours of clinical internships, covering level I trauma centers, neonatal intensive care units, and stroke centers. The school has advanced simulation laboratories and computer classrooms to provide personalized teaching. Graduates perform well in the National Registered Nursing License Examination (NCLEX-RN), with a pass rate of 97.67% in 2021. In addition, the school also offers courses such as radiology technology, surgical technology, and medical laboratory technology, and the employment rate of graduates is high. The school cooperates with many universities to provide a path from RN to BSN.
