East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, founded in 1893, is a medium-sized public comprehensive university affiliated to the Pennsylvania State System. The main campus is located in the scenic Pocono Mountains, covering an area of about 258 acres, with 57 teaching and living buildings, including a modern technology center, a planetarium and a natural history museum.
